Tellico Village Garden Club Mission Statement
The Mission of the Tellico Village Garden Club is to encourage the love of gardening and improve the quality of our environment . Club meetings with expert guest speakers and field trips provide practical and helpful information for your garden and the opportunity to explore a variety of stunning gardens and beautiful native landscapes.
The Tellico Village Garden Club is a wonderful resource for all who love gardening or simply enjoy the beauty of gardens and our natural surroundings.
 The Tellico Village Garden Club meets on the 1ST Thursday of the month at 12:15 for meeting check-in, meeting starts 12:30 the top floor of the Yacht Club (elevator available). Meeting are scheduled September through May. Membership is open to any area gardener. Dues are $15 per family per year. Please wear name tags. Members are encouraged to volunteer their talents and to share ideas on programs they might like presented.
Garden Club members and guests enjoy speakers each month who entertain and educate on a variety of gardening topics. Other activities include field trips, plant swap, mentoring program, social events and an annual Tellico Village Garden Tour.
Garden Club Members enjoy opportunities for day trips.
Tellico Village Garden Club Gives Back
- Assisting with maintaining the Tellico Village Library landscape.
- Donating garden hoses to new Habitat homes
- Wellness Center Butterfly Garden
- Donates to organizations with horticulture initiatives that support our community such as UT Gardens, Our PLACE, Watershed Association, Ijams Nature Center and the Tellico Village Library.
