July 10th - "How Materials Influence Designs" with Daisy Aschehoug, Norway
Part trunk show, part slide show, and part story hour, this lecture contains my life history for the past decade and a half in quilting. I share details on my design inspiration, a walk-through of my digital design process, and describe the how and why of the most important moments in my quilt career - good and bad. You'll also get sneak peeks at current projects that I'm not posting on social media. It's a fun hour full of stories and colorful quilts.

August 14th - “Artistry Through Applique” with David Taylor, Fort Collins, Colorado   www.davidtaylorartquilts.com

September 11th - “Lessons Learned with Quilting” with Catherine Redford, Naperville, IL
I offer an inspiring and entertaining yet informative lecture, Lessons Learned While Quilting. I use professionally shot photographs projected on a screen for a really good look at my quilts and bring a selection of items for even closer examination!

October 10th - “Quilt as Desired” wIth Patricia Harrison, Exetir, RI
This 45-minute PowerPoint lecture takes you through my quilt design process, showing how I determine the quilting that best enhances each of my award-winning quilts and how I transfer the design to the quilt top. I’ll also discuss key considerations such as thread type and color, batting choices, and more. Following the lecture, enjoy my "100 Pounds of Award-Winning Quilts" trunk show, where you’ll get a close-up look at my work. A Q&A session will wrap up the event, providing an opportunity for deeper discussion.
Handout included.

November 13th - “Protecting Precious Quilts” with Lena Beth Reynolds, Sweetwater, TN
She’s going to talk about tips for caring for, cleaning, and preserving quilts. Her knowledge base comes from years of experience buying, selling, and collecting antique quilts. She will also have antique quilts to show and to sell.

December 11th - There will be a holiday luncheon following the business meeting.
