Art Guild of Tellico Village Workshop - Three Day Mixed Media Art Workshop
Professional Canadian Instructor and Author Jean Pederson Returns to Tellico Village!
Learn to use various mixed media combinations to build surfaces with depth and interest. With an emphasis on water soluble paints and mediums, we will be mixing it up by exploring how everything from gesso, acrylics, inks, mark making tools, and collage may be used to capture the imagination. You will be encouraged to take risks and work beyond your traditional practice in pursuit of your own personal language. These techniques may be applied to a variety of subject matters, styles, and surfaces to create your own unique artistic statement. Jean will focus on still life, abstract, and landscape subjects with an emphasis on design and personal style. Classwork will be part of the course.
