Monthly Meeting

Our 12:30pm Thursday, November 3rd speaker, comes to us from our nearby Overhill Nursery. Speaker John Manion’s journey as a gardener has reached far and wide with his education at the State University of New York and Masters degree in Public Gardens from Cornell University. Work experience include Royal Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh, Scotland, Atlantic History Center, and Birmingham Botanical Gardens. As the Education/Outreach Coordinator at Overhill Nursery he speaks to his true passion, “Our Native Flora”. Manion will be reviewing the current trend to use native plants and how they cn benefit our Tellico Village homescapes.
