AN EVENING WITH THE STARS!

Enjoy an evening viewing celestial objects with fellow New Villagers:
Saturn and its moons, Jupiter and its moons, the Ring Nebula, Constellations, Star Clusters, a sliver of our Moon, and our own Milky Way Galaxy!

Location: The hill opposite the Wellness Center 7:45 to 9:00 PM

All registrations must be done online at Tellico Life.

Please bring: Beverages, snacks, jacket, chair, flashlight, bug spray, name tags.

The Astronomical League - a US nation-wide association of amateur astronomers that the Knoxville Observers are a member of - has advised clubs not to support public star parties until further notice as clubs are not insured for potential liability issues that can arise from an actual or potential spread of COVID-19. The Astronomical League has cancelled all 2020 public events and is supporting only on-line activities for the remainder of 2020.
